He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Wendorf and Vida Wendorf; and his brother Donald Wendorf (late Ida). He is survived by: his spouse Loretto Wendorf; his children, Michael Wendorf (Maryanne), Lapasse, Barbara Burke (Patrick), James Wendorf (Roli), San Francisco, Daniel Wendorf (Ghislou), Colleen Trimm (Joey), Diana Brooks (Roy), Elizabeth Parisian (Blair) and Patricia Clouthier (Patrick); and his brother Carl (late Shirley). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Monday, March 3rd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Neville Funeral Home (491 Isabella St, Pembroke, ON K8A5T8). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, March 4th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Church of the Most Holy Name of Jesus (284 Trafalgar Rd, Pembroke, ON K8A5A6).
