She was predeceased by: her husband Lorne Alfred McConnell (Slim); her siblings, Ruth Martin and Lang Cope; and her parents, Edwin Cope and Marion Cope.
She is survived by: her children, Shane Patience (C. J.), Marney Ready, Winston McConnell, Kathy Turcotte (Darwin), Bill McConnell (Heather) and Bob McConnell (Mary Jane); her grandchildren, Liam, Ryan (April), Brady (Ali), Wesley (Lindsey), Maddie (Deven), Christopher (Mel), Katelin (Phil), Candace (Scott), Brandon (Amy), Andrew (Corie), Matthew (Heather), Chase (Jasmine), Cole (Denise) and Madison (Rob); and her brother Jim Cope.
