He is survived by: his wife Joan Sylvester; his children, Brian Sylvester (Suzanne), Cheryl Somers (Stan) and Paul Sylvester; his grandchildren, Jill Aiello (Mike), Jessica Sylvester of Bakersfield, CA, Mark Somers of St Albert, AB and Thomas Somers; and his great grandchildren, Calista, Jacob, James and Oliver.
