He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Yakabuskie and Tessie Yakabuskie; and his brothers, Gerald (Beverly) and Allan Yakabuskie (Joan). He is survived by: his wife Monica Yakabuskie; his daughters, Kimberly Micalleff, Tammy Yakabuskie (Lee Nesbitt) and Pamela Yakabuskie; his grandchildren, Victoria and Harrison; and his sisters, Catherine, Marla Recoskie (Edward) and Irene Yakabuskie (Dave).

As an expression of sympathy, donations to Kidney Foundation of Canada or Ottawa Heart Institute would be appreciated.
