She was predeceased by: her husband Clarence Benkhe; her siblings, Aurore, Regina, Valera and Cecil; and her parents, Joseph Lafreniere and Mary Lafreniere.

She is survived by: her child Romaine Lehman (Frank); her grandchildren, John, Paula and Vicki (Russell); her great grandchildren, Zachary, Emily and Jack; and her brother Earl.
