She was predeceased by: her husband Harold "Harry" Biesenthal; her former husband David Orville Markus; her parents, John Thom and Frieda Thom; and her siblings, Earl Yahn (Iris), Roy Thom (Ruth), Harold Thom (Gloria), Eldon Thom (Viola) and Shirley Nolan (Jack).

She is survived by: her daughters, Donna (Len Foubert), Debra DeMarco (Rob Edge), Lori (Garry Lavallie), Heather (Romeo DelRosario) and Leanne Bush (Dan Hiuser); and her grandchildren, Jody, Chad, Brady, Daniel, Kyle, James, Marcus, Tanyss, Alexandria and Lauren.
