She was predeceased by: her spouse Cecil; her child Douglas; her parents, Francis Forbes and Tressa Forbes (Frauts); and her sibling Walter.

She is survived by: her children, Carolyn (Ray Phillips), John (Joan), Beverley (Dan Lebert), Judy (Jim Newman), Kathleen Chisholm (James) and Lovingly; and her siblings, Bill Forbes, Nettie Smith, Elizabeth Hurd, Harry, Arnold and Lavina Adams. She is also survived by her many grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren.
