She was predeceased by: her parents, Bob Huntley and Vi Huntley; her siblings, Marie, Robert, Ronald and Betty Ann; and her husbands, George Wood and Bob Abernathy.

She is survived by: her close friend Doug Greer; her grandchildren, Bo (Alishia), Trevor (Maggie), Colin (Nicole) and Emma (Conner); her son-in-law Fred Fraser; and her siblings-in-law, Charles Jones and Dorothy Summerhayes. She is also survived by her nieces and nephews.

Donations in Leah's honour may be made to the Parry Sound Salvation Army (Toy Drive).
