He was predeceased by: his spouse Peggy'Biindaasagekwe'Hupfield; and his siblings-in-law, Ora, Judy, Lenora, Aileen, Eldridge'Tiger' and Scuba'Steve.

He is survived by: his children, Johna (Brock), Maria (Jason), John (Deanne) and Mathew (Norissa); his grandchildren, Gracie, Naomi, Niigaunii, Oscar, Tkamse, Scarlett, Niimin, Zhekwe, Piper and Biidaaban; his sister Liz (Phillip); and his brother-in-law John. He is also survived by his nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 6th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Wasauksing Gathering Place. A funeral service was held on Thursday, November 7th 2024 at 11:00 AM.
