Joan MacFie Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joan MacFie (Parry Sound, Ontario), who passed away on January 14, 2025. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Joan MacFie to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Ramsay and Margaret Ramsay (Spearpoint); her brother Douglas; and her husband John Macfie. She is survived by: her children, Robert (Alicen), Elizabeth (Paul) and Ian (Ninfa); her grandchildren, Stuart, Emilie, John and Margaret; and her friend Lorie Latimer (Tudhope). She is also survived by her nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, January 26th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Logan Funeral Home (81 James St, Parry Sound, ON P2A1T7).
As expressions of sympathy, donations to the West Parry Sound Health Centre would be appreciated, in recognition of the emergency department's compassionate care of Joan.
