He is survived by: his wife Angie; his son David of Gravenhurst; his granddaughters, Jessica of Vancouver, B. C. and Nicole of Vancouver, B. C.; and his brothers, Gerry of Ayr, ON. and Frank of Westlock, AB..
Harold was the first Captain of the Chippewa III when it came to Parry Sound and in 2003 joined the wheelhouse crew of the Island Queen until Covid in 2020.
