He was predeceased by: his son Joe; his parents, Hazel Tabobandung and Hubert Tabobandung; and his siblings, Oliver, Gene and Vaughn.

He is survived by: his wife Diane; his children, Bradley, Michelle, Jeff, Shawn and Daniel; his grandchildren, Hayden and Isabel; and his siblings, Verna, Tina (Chico), Ivy (Pete), Nancy (John), Bob (Lindsay), Vic (Joanne) and Amy. He is also survived by his many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
