He was predeceased by: his wife Cindy Hendrick; his sisters, Wendy and Tammy; and his parents, Ross Clare and Leona Clare.

He is survived by: his children, Connie Hendrick-Clare (Dwayne Taylor) and Blair Clare; his grandchild Emma-Lou Williams; and his brother Leonard Clare (Diane). He is also survived by his nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
