He is survived by: his wife Gwen Dales (Whiteside); his stepson Alec Sampson (Joelle); his sisters, Linda Dennison (late Tom), Brenda Kirkpatrick (Jim) and Sandra Monahan (Brad); and his nephews, Brady (Jordanne), Brandon (Sarah) and Mike (Doralee). He is also survived by his extended family and many friends.
