He was predeceased by: his parents, Ivan and Ione; and his siblings, Joan and Edward. He is survived by: his children, Wade (Jill) and Cathy-Anne (Vic); his granddaughters, Shannon, Breanne, Kaylee (Ryan), Valerie (Dave) and Cathy-Anne; his sisters, Jean (Michael) and Gloria (Clive); his sister-in-law June; and also Margaret-Ann (Bob Kohli). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
