She was predeceased by: her mother Loraine Stiles. She is survived by: her children, Amanda Wainright (Jason Green) and Trendan Prentice; her grandson Taioma Blacksky; and her siblings, Debbie Wainright, Karen Park (Tim Park), Lennie Wainright (Gail Wainright) and Roy Wainright.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to mental health organizations in honour of Cathy's memory.
