He was predeceased by: his wives, Dorothy Forbes (Jordan) and Helen Forbes (Hannon); and his siblings, Harry, Lavina Adams, Nettie Smith, Elizabeth Hurd, Arnold Forbes and Mabel Chisholm.
He is survived by: his brother Walter; his great-niece Melanie Taylor; and his nephew Brian Forbes. He is also survived by his nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
