He was predeceased by: his daughter Ellen Jones (Arlis); his parents, Thomas Whillans and Elsie Whillans; and his brothers, Douglas (Marjorie) and Howard (Winifred).
He is survived by: his spouse Gwendoline (Newman); his children, Bruce (Jacqueline), Sandra and Unamarie Elaine; his grandchildren, Kym Rose (Ramsey), Bill (Josie), Jeffrey (Chris), Troy Jones (Maria), Walker Jones (Tiffany), Michael Jones (Stacy) and Christopher Jones (Sarah); his great grandchildren, Brock Jones, Cameron Soucy, Garrett Jones, Lorne Sonnier (Jones), Jonah Soucy, Gwendolyn May Jones, Benjamin Jones and Emerson Jones; and his great great grandchildren, Remmi, Dawson and Atlas. He is also survived by his nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
