He was predeceased by: his wife Joyce; his brother Ron Mawson; and his siblings-in-law, Patricia Rock (late Gary) and Jim Pickering. He is survived by: his sons, Bill Mawson (Eileen) and John Mawson (Laura); his grandchildren, Gaige, Travis, Tylor, Jennifer and Emma; his siblings, Doug Mawson (Lynda), Marilyn Hutchinson (Ric Cross) and Joyce Hutchinson (Jim); and his siblings-in-law, Linda Eagleson (Norm) and Ron Pickering (Judy). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
