He was predeceased by: his parents, Gladys Beierling and Lorne Beierling; and his siblings, Lorna, Murray Lagerwerf, Gary Darlene Beierling, Patricia and Walter Van Buel.

He is survived by: his wife Doreen (Willsie); his children, Billi Marie (Sean Wilson) and Kraig; his siblings, Lola Shannon (Ken), Bill Beierling (Mary), Barbara Walsh, Cathy Windsor (Wayne), Debbie Beierling, Brian Beierling (Brenda), Susan Shephard (Ted) and Tracy Windsor; and his siblings-in-law, Garry Willsie, Jack Willsie (Deb), Ina Brammall (Frank), Doug Willsie (Janet) and Brenda Willsie (Rod). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
