She was predeceased by: her son Jeremy Thompson; and her parents, Edward (Joan Cross) and Arthur (Eilene Thompson). She is survived by: her husband Doug Thompson; her daughter Alison Rammeloo (Eric) of Dashwood; her grandchildren, Jessica, Dwayne and Jake Rammeloo; her siblings, Tom, Geraldine Cross (Windsor), Jim, Barb Cross (Amhurstburg), Ralph, Fran Thompson (Kingston), Gail and Rob Bender (Parkhill); and her nieces and nephews, Mike Cross (Laurie), Cheryl Hodgins (Terry), Jacqui O'Neill (Dan), Jennifer Breault (James) and Melissa Belanger.
