She is survived by: her children, Linda Vandenberg (Bill), Gary Struyf (Sylvia), Brenda (Phil Smith) and Carol Veens (Rick); her grandchildren, Vanessa, Ryan (Mary), Jennifer, Jeff (Tory), Jillian (Dan), Julia, Andrew (Nicole), Alicia (Garren) and Brent; and her siblings, Joe (Carol) and Magda (Andre).

In lieu of flowers, those wishing to make a donation in memory of Lucy are asked to consider The Heart and Stroke Foundation.
