He was predeceased by: his brother Doug Kennedy (Shirley). He is survived by: his wife Joan (Essery); his children, Kari Kennedy (late Richard Truppe) of Strathroy, Rob of Strathroy and Colleen of Strathroy; his grandchildren, Katrina, Kameron, Brooke, Lauren and Kaitlin; his brother Hugh Kennedy (Marion) of Alberta; and his siblings-in-law, Karin Roger (Dave) of Exeter and Jean Keller (late Lorne) of Zurich.

Memorial donations can be made directly to Strathroy Middlesex General Hospital and are greatly acknowledged.
