He was predeceased by: his spouse Dale; his parents, Lorne Ellis and Ruth Ellis (Ingold); his siblings, Donald, George Ellis, Marion Springer Jeannette (Clayton) and Marjorie Schmitt (Joe); and his brothers-in-law, Earl Habel, Gil Johnson, Wayne Gray (late Chris) and Kevin Gray.
He is survived by: his children, Bobbi Skinner (Jeff), Trevor (Andrea) and Amy Blackburn (Paul); his grandchildren, Haley (Scott), Andrew (Emma), Alli (Jacob), Jack, Abbi, Brooklynn, Emma, Madelynn and Payton; his great grandchildren, Ella, Everlynn and Easton; his sibling Shirley Johnson (Gil); and his siblings-in-law, Mike Harris, Sally Ellis, Kim Gray (late Sharon), Joanne Collins (Archie), Sherri Morrison, Carol Gray, Sandy Stotz (Randy), Colleen Lee (Len) and Tracey Thorne (Junior). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
