He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Pickering and Gladys Pickering; and his sister Dorothy. He is survived by: his sisters, Lyn Kopacsi and Carol Shingler; and his nieces and nephews, Ryan Carson (Faye), Colyn Carson (Angela), Karen Shingler and Tracey Carvill.
