He was predeceased by: his daughter Denise Pelton (Bill); his parents, Addie Lavoie and E. T. Lavoie (Pete) of Paris; and his brothers-in-law, Dick Attlebery and Eugene Sereda of Brantford.
He is survived by: his son Patrick of Brantford; his sister Marcella; his siblings-in-law, Jack Mosher (Char) of Sudbury, Calvin Mosher of Kitchener and Penny; his grandchildren, Julie (Geoff) and Jamie; and his great grandchildren, Olivia and Abbi. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
