As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Markum may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his daughter June; his significant other Amanda Brown; his parents, Debbie McHutchion (Roland Schlaak) and Charlie (Bonnie Herman); and his siblings, James (Nicole) and Robin (Crystal). He was also cherished by several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation was held on Friday, March 7th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Kipp Funeral Home (184 Grand River St N, Paris, ON N3L2N1). A funeral service was held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
