She was predeceased by: her husband Glenwood Frances; her parents, William Hitchman and Caroline Hitchman of England; her granddaughter Natalie Perrin; and her siblings, Isabel, Charles, Hannah, Dorothy, Caroline, Barbara, Christopher and Florence.

She is survived by: her children, Nancy Richardson (Ross), Martin (Karen) and Christine Hazell (David) of Paris; her grandchildren, Scott, Laura (Jeff), Curtis (Rachel), Emily (Mitch), Madeline, Liam and Andrew; her great grandchildren, Reuben, Oria and Taika; and her siblings-in-law, Lorna Wallace (Reuben), Pat Perrin and Jean Perrin. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
