She was predeceased by: her granddaughter Natalie Hunter. She is survived by: her husband Michael; her children, Julie (Chris) and David (Melanie); and her grandchildren, Alex (Sydney), Audrey Hunter, Stephanie, Jessica Southam, Tyler, Austin and Olivia Marques.
The family kindly requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made in Joan's memory to The Toronto Zoo or the Brant SPCA, causes which were very close to her heart.
