She was predeceased by: her parents, Ronald Hickerson and Mary Hickerson. She is survived by: her husband Gerald Shipp; her children, Bryan (Jill), Terry (Colleen) and Laurie; her grandchildren, Cassandra (Scott), Alexandra (Aaron), Evan, Adam and Taylor (Emily); her siblings, Drew (late Fran) and Beth; her niece Jennifer; her nephew Logan; and her great-niece Grace.

In Helen's memory, donations to either the Paris Optimist Club or Meals-on-Wheels would be gratefully appreciated by the family.
