She was predeceased by: her sons, Daniel, Rudy and David. She is survived by: her husband Rudolf Schottmann; her children, Anna (Rob), Alfred (Sarah), Sabine and Annette (Maureen); and her daughter-in-law Dianne. She is also survived by her 8 grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Due to the COVID-19 Pandemic, Hedwig's family will have a private graveside service in Mount View Cemetery in Cambridge.

In Hedwig's memory, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society (https: //http://www.cancer.ca) would be appreciated by the family.
