She was predeceased by: her husband Kenneth Garnet Hillis; her parents, Bert West and Hazel West; her siblings, Uriel Beacock (late Ken) and Ben West (late Ruth); her mother-in-law Gladys Hillis; and her son-in-law James Ballantyne.
She is survived by: her children, Rhonda Thomson (David), Kenneth Jr. (Shelley), Kerry Ballantyne (Debbie) and Lisa Ballantyne (Tony Cannon); her grandchildren, Courtney (Marcus), Kinsey (Rowland), Riley, Rachel (Ronan), Brooklyn (Robert), Allison, Julia, Ian T., Alex and Matthew; her great grandchild Rory; her siblings, Eva Lipksie (late Clarence), Rena Lawrence (Leonard), Bert West (Marlie), Elgin West (Jean), Gladys Murray (late Dennis), Joe West (Gwen) and Luke West (Leslie); and her brothers-in-law, Howard (Sheila) and LeRoy (Kathy).
