It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Frances Evelyn Cowan of Paris, Ontario, who passed away on February 24, 2022, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Frank M. Cowan; her stepchildren, Robert H Cowan (Mary) and Thomas O'Brien Cowan (Betty); her niece Carol Dykstra (Cleo); and her siblings, Helen Stark (Frank), Kathleen Batter (Leo) and Jack Courtney (Irene).

She is survived by: her nieces and nephews, Fred Courtney (Mary), Sandra Dahlin (Eric), Bev Courtney (Joan), Paul Batter (Marilyn), Lynne McDougall (Chris), Anne Schubert (Denis) and Peter Courtney (Janice); and her stepgrandchildren, Theresa Bloomfield (Steve), Barry Cowan (late Susan), Sean Cowan (Monique), Maureen Cowan (Matthew Sheedy), Thomas Dietrich, David Dietrich (Julia), Denise Cowan (Mike Chatterton), Christine Cowan (Colin Carney), Jeanette Daniel (Jeff), Colleen Cowan and Alicia Cowan (Jake Copson). She is also survived by Her family, and in particular her siblings, nieces, and nephews.
