He was predeceased by: his former wife Sandra; his children, Karen and Andy; and his brothers, Harry and Pete.

He is survived by: his wife Carole Couves; his children, Tracie (Terry), Lori (Brendan), Terry and Tony (Shelley); his grandchildren, Eric, Jamie, Rebecca, Cale, Brock, Kaleigh, Liam, Shea, Aidan, Luc, Emma and Hailie; his great grandchild Bella; and his sibling Chris Couves (Myrene). He is also survived by many extended family members and friends.

In Ted's memory, donations to the Canadian Lung Association or St. James Anglican Church would be appreciated by the family.
