She was predeceased by: her husband John. She is survived by: her children, James Steemers (Jo Ann), Mary Ann Salmon (John), Catherine Steemers and Melissa Smith; and her sisters, Jean Eaton and Willie MacMain (Al). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

“I was so sorry to hear of Cora's death. In January I sent her a belated Christmas card, which some weeks later came back as undeliverable. Finally I went online and was very sad to find her obituary. Cora was the first person I met when my husband and I moved from New York City to Citadel Village in Don Mills (Toronto) in Jan. 1976, and she took me under her wing immediately. She was a wonderful neighbor and friend. Condolences to her children. Mary Ann Curley - [email protected]”
