She was predeceased by: her parents, Bud Govier and Elsie Govier; her brother Michael; and her daughter Kara. She is survived by: her spouse John; her children, Kelley McPate (Kieran) and Jamie (Michelle); her grandchildren, Erika McPate, Sierra, Morgan, Breanna and Justin Gillies; and her sibling Marilyn Hayward (Mike).
