He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, William Garrett and Myrtle Garrett; his wife Beryl; his siblings, Roscoe and Buelah; his daughters, Anne Garrett (Peter Jarvis) and Jane McFarlane (Ian); his grandchildren, Duncan McFarlane (Cecilia Livingston), Heather McFarlane and Stuart McFarlane; and his nieces and nephews, Marion Clark, Peter Garrett, David Peterson and Lorraine Jaffray.
