It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Peter Devries (Parham, Ontario), who passed away on October 29, 2021, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Peter Devries to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his brother Wilbert; and his parents, Akke (Anne) and Petrus (Peter). He is survived by: his wife Linda; his children, Kyle, Jess (Alex) and Zach (Caray); his pet Zuri; and his sister Alice (Terry).

“Linda, I never met you and you likely have no idea who I am. But I was blessed, as was my family, to have Peter as our neighbour in Munster Hamlet. I was in Grade seven when I met him, and remember Kyle coming over to visit my rabbits. Years later, my sister worked a bit with Peter in finance and arranged to for me to meet him for lunch when I was visiting Ottawa. Without doubt, he was the best neighbour we ever had, an absolutely wonderful man. So sorry for your loss.”

“I was so saddened to hear of peter's passing. I was lucky enough to work with him in fiscal policy in the department of finance. He was fun to work with .. always smiling. i never once saw him get mad .. and worked so hard .. with the budget etc. I used to see him at the rink with Zac for hockey .. i was always happy to run in to him there ..
