With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Tom McFarlane (Palmerston, Ontario), who passed away on September 20, 2022. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Jack McFarlane and Mary McFarlane; his brother Terry McFarlane; and his siblings-in-law, Joan McFarlane, Elma McFarlane, Paul and Dale Widmeyer.
He is survived by: his wife Diane (Widmeyer); his children, Kristen, Ehren Wagner of Brampton, Sean and Elizabeth McFarlane of Elmira; his grandchildren, Grant, Claire and Jack; and his siblings-in-law, Miriam Long, Daniel Jarvis, Randy, Shelley Widmeyer, Mark, Julie Widmeyer, Linda Osborne and Bev Widmeyer. He is also survived by his many nieces, nephews and friends.
As expressions of sympathy donations to SickKids Foundation, Terry Fox Foundation or the Palmerston and District Hospital Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
