He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Turner Roorda and Joan Roorda; his brother Brad Roorda; his parents-in-law, Pieter and Jean Flooryp; his wife Joanne Roorda; his children, Karen, Jason and Peter (Janessa); his siblings, Ed (Gloria), Wayne (Grace), Rick (Louisa), Marg (Jackie) and Tim (Shelley); and his extended family, Edna Roorda, Gonnie, Judy, Glen DeWinter, John and Tonya Flooryp.
