He was predeceased by: his parents, Alexander Vallance and Audrey Vallance (Day); his sisters, Heather Cooper (Brian) and Barb Ward (Larry); his brother-in-law Ray Walsh; and his nephew Michael Cooper.
He is survived by: his children, Richard, Tammy Vallance of Mitchell, Michael Vallance and Jacqueline Covey of Breslau; his grandchildren, Tristin and Amellia; and his siblings, Sandy (Gail Vallance), Bill (Laurel Vallance), Wendy Walsh (James Morrison), Darlene (Mike Roeder), Darwin Vallance of Harriston, Donna (Gary Hopper), Judy (Mike Harris) and Kim (Ann Vallance). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
