He is survived by: his spouse Maxine Young; his children, Brian Young (Lois), Scott Young (Debbie) and Randy Young (Meg); his grandchildren, Jennifer, Lauren, Colin (Lindsay), Justin, Mathew, Kassidy, Leslie and Greg; his great grandchildren, Tyler, Andrew and Emma; and his siblings, Glen Young (Patricia) and Janice (Hugh Morrison).

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to Juvenile Diabetes or Derryadd Cemetery.
