He was predeceased by: his spouse Marguerite; his child Drew Burrows; his parents, Chase Burrows and Mildred Burrows (Morrison); and his siblings-in-law, Pat Scott, Wib Smalley, Bob Collyer and Don Coleman.

He is survived by: his children, Amy Burrows and Tomas Hartl of Toronto; his sister Kathryn Gorman; his children, Elizabeth, David, Cameron and Mitchell; his siblings-in-law, Isobel Bauman of Stratford, Catherine Coulter, Wayne Riley of St. Thomas, Jane Coleman of London and Jim Scott; and also, Meg, Mary Jean (Burrows) and Larry Hartwig. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
