He was predeceased by: his wife Joan Murray; his parents, Wilfred Murray and Caroline Murray (Braun); his siblings, Allan Murray (June) and Audrey Keil (George); and his son-in-law Larry Epworth.

He is survived by: his children, Linda, Norbert VanKooy of Burk's Falls, Wayne, Karen Murray of Owen Sound, Dianne Epworth of Clifford, Kate, John Oatway of Kanata, Roger and Antonet Murray of Oakville; his friend Edith Henry of Clifford; his grandchildren, Paul VanKooy, Wendy Gomoll, Mark, Melissa VanKooy, Krissy, Grant Ralston, David, Rachael Murray, Heather, Mike Lacey, Elizabeth Murray, Will Klie, Samantha Epworth, Graham, Stefanie Epworth, Darcy, Ryan Bast, Cindy, Simon Taggart, Kendra Oatway, Bryson McVeetors, John Murray, Matthew Murray, Luca Murray, Brooke Senek, Matthew Senek and Robert Holtom; his great grandchildren, Harrison, Kyler, Emma, Avery, Hudson, Parker, Clara, Callum, Logan, Summer, Miles, Mazikeen, Beckett, Jack, Kennedy, Gage, Myles, Lyla, Forrest, Kaia and Max; and his siblings-in-law, Larry and Jackie Holtom of Mount Forest. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held at the Hardy Lee Funeral Home, Harriston on Friday from 6:00 to 8:00 p. m. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, visitors must schedule a time by selecting RSVP under the service details (below), or by calling the funeral home at 519-338-2441.
