It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Larry Hartwig in Palmerston, Ontario, who passed away on August 12, 2020, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his former wife Anne Marie Lindsay; his parents, Hilda Hartwig (Sachs) and Erich Hartwig; and his parents-in-law, Jeanette Lindsay, Harold and Mary Burrows (Twamley).
He is survived by: his wife Mary Jean; his children, Eric Hartwig, Peter Hartwig and Megan (Charlie Lewellyn-Jones); his grandchildren, Alric, Ronin Hartwig, Alexandra and Juliet Lewellyn-Jones; his sister Elaine; his brother-in-law John Bowman; his sister Nancy Anne; his brother-in-law Beverley Binkle; and his nieces, Brenda (Matt Calman), Kathy (Den Crake), Andrea Binkle, Marci (Mike Reeves) and Shelley Miller.
Visitation will be held at the Hardy-Lee Funeral Home, Harriston on Friday, August 14th from 6:00 until 8:00 p. m. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, visitors must schedule a time by selecting RSVP under the "Service Details" (above), or by calling the funeral home at 519-338-2441.
