He was predeceased by: his parents, Roelof Bouwers and Johanna Bouwers; his brother Dick Bouwers; and his brothers-in-law, Jake Steringa and Fred Geerlinks.
He is survived by: his wife Marlene; his children, Emily Bye (Mark) and Christopher Bouwers (Anastasiya Filatava); his grandchildren, Isabel, Russell, Abigail, Sophia and Yan; his siblings, Eda Steringa, Jennie Geerlinks and Hendrik Bouwers (Fran); and his sister-in-law Elizabeth Geerlinks. He is also survived by his many nieces, nephews.
A memorial service was held on Tuesday, April 22nd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Palmerston Christian Reformed Church (400 Whites Rd, Palmerston, ON N0G2P0). When you arrive for the service, there will be a staff member to assist you with Covid Screening.
