He was predeceased by: his wife Dorothy McIlroy (Coates); his parents, Robert McIlroy and Anna McIlroy (Hood); and his siblings, Nora Smith, Marguerite Rapp, Melissa Elliott, Thelma Ellison, Vernon McIlroy and Alvin McIlroy.
He is survived by: his children, Robert McIlroy (Diane Hilpert-McIlroy) of Nipigon and Margaret Anderson of Palmerston; his grandchildren, Lee Anne McIlroy, Bradley McIlroy, Crystal Anderson, Trevor Hilpert (Pamela), Trent Hilpert (Tracy) and Dallas Hall (Steve); his great grandchildren, Tyler, Kyle Sage, Devlin Anderson, Kaileigh, Connor, McKenna Hilpert, Avery, Blythe, Shea Hilpert, Sloan and Aspen Hall; and also Remembered.
Memorial donations to Palmerston Evangelical Missionary Church, or the Gideon's would be appreciated, and may be made through the Hardy-Lee Funeral Home, Harriston.
