He was predeceased by: his wife Johanna "Annie" Dyksterhuis; his parents, Douwke Dyksterhuis and Trijntje Dyksterhuis (Vos); his parents-in-law, Johan and Hendrina Logtenberg (Reuvekamp); his brother Jakob Dyskterhuis; and his siblings-in-law, Henk Logtenberg, Douglas Lowe, John Logtenberg, Ralph Logtenberg, Walter Tinholt, Eileen Dyksterhuis and Els Dyksterhuis.
He is survived by: his children, Rita, Jamie Stevens of Waterloo, Doug, Kim Dyksterhuis of Drayton, Joanne, Dale Martin of Elmira, John Dyksterhuis and Renee McIsaac of Conestogo; his great grandchildren, Amanda, Jonas, Kaia, Malia, Melisa, Josh, Sadie, Mikaela, Brian, Melissa, Summer, Harry, Finnley, Matt, Sarah, Reggie, Brittany, Scott, Sophie, Emily, Chloe, Laci, Savi and Abby; his siblings, Henry Dyksterhuis, Irene Dyksterhuis, Christine and Peter Oosterveld; and his siblings-in-law, Hendrina Lowe (Rinnie), Hennie Tinholt, Debi and Larry Forhan. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
In Ed's memory and as expressions of sympathy, donations to the Knox Presbyterian Church, Palmerston or Palmerston Hospital Foundation, would be greatly appreciated by the family.
