He was predeceased by: his parents, Ivan Birk and Milta Birk (Gingerich). He is survived by: his children, Terry (Paul McTaggart) of Lucan, David (Karen) of Ayr, Jacquie Birk and Brian Clarke of Brighton; and his sister Keitha (Bob Graham). He is also survived by his nieces and friends.
