He was predeceased by: his son Neil; his parents, John and Martha (Junop); and his siblings, Isabel, Dawson and Elroy.

He is survived by: his wife Darlene (Luloff); his children, Donna and John (Trisha); his grandchildren, Emma and Noah; his sibling Emmerson (Ingrid); and his sister-in-law Dolores. He is also survived by his many nieces, nephews and cousins.
